Neither the diseases not the countries where they come from have
changed much since then.

I keep insisting that mostly UNHEALTHY people get sick, i.e. get
sick rather than being sick from the word go due to some hereditary
ailment. And I keep insisting that the majority of illnesses are
basically due to disturbed bacterial flora in the intestines
(these flora represent the largest part of our immune system and
are just as (some claim even more) important than the lymphocytes
and killer cells etc. in the bloodstream.
