| subject: | Irex for Email - Echomail? |
Hello...
I am searching for a way to gate email to an echo (well, to a JAM message
base anyhow). I have researched a lot of options and *think* that Irex can do
the job for me.
Basically I had a friend who runs a RSS -> email service and I want to gate
some very specific subject matter feeds into some local areas and see how it
goes. I may or may not gate some into echoes or not, depends on how the
community feels about it....that's for later.
I run my own mail server on the same machine as the BBS, so all Irex would
have
to do is read the mail spool of whatever user I choose to create to receive
emails I want gated, and then toss them into whatever area I want.
I've read the docs and I *think* Irex can do this, but before I install it
and
start screwing around with my system, can someone confirm or deny that Irex
is
capable of this?
And if not, does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks!
- Jon
