Radius has not yet released the Telecast, it's still in beta testing, or so
says the beta site coordinator.  It adds some real professionalism to the 
VVS. 
 You get XLR for audio inputs, component video input (like on Betacam decks)
and much much more.  
Unless you're doing online work with multiple tape sources, you shouldn't 
need 
a TBC from what I understand.  If you do get one, though, don't rely on the
cheap built-in ones on some of the nicer decks, go outboard with a ForA and
make it full-frame and you won't regret it!
