That's what I used to at the time, and I found it worked well. My MBSE
BBS also uses BSO.

Yep, I found this is one of the most important things to do (once
everything else is setup that is!) to get SBBS and Irex working well
together with Irex in daemon mode. Before I figured that out I had to
run events every so often to get the mail moving. Once I did that I
found Irex's binkp server acted as expected.

Yep, I spent a fair amount of time tweaking and experimenting. I was
very happy with it once I had it going.
