 I've a good friend who is BAC but she never ever pushes her beliefs
on anyone. That's the key to getting along.

There's many ways to achieve the same goal. Some ways make no sense to
us, but if they don't hurt us leave it alone. I'd rather be friends
because other than her world view which she keeps to herself,
she's a fine decent person. I don't think it's her religion that has
her that way, but perhaps it helps her stay that way. It's like a drug
you take to stay the life path you've chosen.

 That's it exactly. Just don't go there. Same with politics. The
devout don't wan to see how politicians use religion as a power
tool. Not anymore than they want to see how big business does the same
thing. This is confusing. I know some religious people who say they
don't like this tactic, but then they don't do anything about it.

So it goes on. Religion is becoming more a 'business' than a belief
system. Truism: "faith is spiritual; religion is what you pay for."
