PE> I noticed some time ago that you FREQ'd CVS, and I noticed that
PE> you generally appear to use DOS, so can you report on whether
PE> CVS works for DOS? There are two different DOS ports from
PE> memory, one of which sounded like it would work, and one which
PE> sounded like it wouldn't work. So if you didn't have any luck
PE> with the one you got, I can take another look. BFN. Paul.
MP> I couldn't get the dos version to work it gave the following
MP> when I type "cvs checkout sr".
MP> CVS.EXE checkout: Updating sr
MP> CVS.EXE checkout: cannot create read lock in repository `e:\src\sr': No
MP> such file or directory
MP> CVS.EXE [checkout aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
MP> e:\src\sr does exist and I've set the following.
MP> USER=Parker
MP> CVSROOT=e:\src
You need to create e:\src\sr before you can check out "sr". What
directory were you in when you issued the cvs checkout command?
Hopefuly not e:\src!!!
BFN. Paul.
