Ok... the Kestrel is taking the plunge into the serious search for home
ownership.
I've got a pre-approval thing going
a lead on a great realtor
and so far the Finance Ghods appear to think I'm capable of handling 30
years of debt conveniently titled "investment"

now I just have to find something I like
in an area I like
that won't require an internal organ, or an arrangement with Satan on the
future dwelling place of my soul

So here's what I want...
at least 2br
in a decent neighborhood on a quiet street
built somewhere in the last 20 years (more recent is better purely on the
technological level. I grant new does not always have character, but it's
terribly cost effective)
most ideally with central air conditioning, but that's a bold dream in these
parts
Oh, and it should have a fenced backyard for Inyuk (it doesn't even have to
be a big yard.. )

pretty modest goals... Bardie wishes should be able to achieve them :)
