The available echos are in a text file called BACKBONE.NA and is a name given 
to the area tag file for Fidonet.  My system runs a batch file which changes 
the name to AREAS.TXT and places it in another directory.  All of the echo 
areas listed in BACKBONE.NA are all currently ELISTed echos on the North 
American backbone (Zone 1), which includes Canada.

No, BAMA is the correct area tag name.  Ask your SysOp to look at his 
BACKBONE.NA file and he will see it listed there.  If he can't find it, I

additional help, I will be here.
