        At the close of my Army days, the M-16 A2 was just making its
debut.  Standard field tactics for fire teams was beginning to change
with most of the squads carrying the A2's (3 round burst mode and semi only)
with at least one man still carrying a 16 with full auto capability.
This may have changed now that the minimi SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon)
is on the scene, I don't know, but I will find out from some of my Army
buds when I get back to work friday (I'm in the Air Force now....)
