subject: Re: CA DOJ STRIKES DEAL WITH HCI TO CONFISCATE GUNS

In article ,
This is a double edged thing at best. Some things you should factor
into your decisions. Clinton is one of the best friends gun dealers
have ever had. He generates business thru scare tactics. Then he
protects their business by eliminating competition in the form of
small dealers. Panic buying and stockpiling/hoarding may result in
demand now, but if and when the scare ends, business will drop off to
about nothing. The results of that will be that a number of the
remaining shops will close, leaving only a few in each region. Easy
targets for techincal violations that can close them. Watch the
traitors in the gun shops support his anti-gun show initiatives.
They will love being able to charge for transfers between private
individuals. One local store here is up to $40 to receive an out of
state firearm. He doesn't like internet sales, or transfers from
dealers that carry things he doesn't -- cuts into HIS business.
