CR> The message from Lorne Murphy rises higher:
CR>
CR> CR> haven't found a lot of Tull that I like but that one I do. _Stand
Up_
CR> CR> got me too, but that's it so far.
CR>
CR> LM> OUCH! Clark... what have you tried out so far? I literally
CR> LM> recommend *any* pre-'80 Tull to *anyone* who is unfamiliar with
CR> LM> them. _Minstrel in the Gallery_
CR>
CR> I've got that but really only cared for the title song.
CR>
CR> LM> and _Songs from the Wood_ are
CR>
CR> This one I need to try. I do like the title song quite a bit.
CR>
CR> LM> extraordinary, as is _Thick as a Brick_,
CR>
CR> I've heard it about 5 or 6 times and I liked it better each time, but
CR> after about 25 minutes of it, I get tired of it.
CR>
CR> LM> _Stormwatch_
CR>
CR> Never heard it.
CR>
CR> LM> and _Heavy Horses_
CR>
CR> I borrowed this and listened to it a couple of times. There was nothing
CR> about it that really grabbed me.
I've found that with Tull repeated listenings is the ticket. I've had TAAB
or
15 years. Last year I finally figured out what I liked about it. Now I think
it's terrific. Some things, i.e., Stand Up are a bit more immediate than
others.

Bill
