Can't actually say for certain.
Years ago I _hired_ a homeless guy for 5 bucks ( so he could buy beer)
to open my door and see howe the dog responded.
Spanky greeted the stranger with a display of teeth and impressive
snarl.
The guy didn't press his luck, came downstairs and I him.
Color gone out of his face I think he needed the six pack about then 

Still Spanky had not advanced to attack, merely warned.

That was years ago and I've always stressed Spanky remain gentle.

In any case were he to do nothing most recognize the breed and
with the media hype I don't see many testing the 
dog's behavior unless they knw his reputation for gentleness.

Dead easy to teach, he wished to please and still does.
The first owners tried to attack train Spanky but I got him in time.

We _did_ have an interesting _conversation_ over his first bath
but it stayed bloodless and he's been a sweetheart ever since.

They're euthanizing every member of the breed in the county :-(

Same here.

It would take so little media time to educate how to make the breed safe
but do they take the three minutes to do so?
I've never seen it.
I learned along the way.
