I do understand how cats can want their own way, and expect everything else 
o
wait until they are through.  I made Cat Dreams for my step-daughter for 
Christmas and worked on it straight through too.  It was various cat blocks 
made of 9 different fabrics, and two different backgrounds.  I put mice, 
birds, fish, and even two dogs in the quilt.  DH thought it was great.
