inotifywatch, inotifywait etc from inotifytools.

Any disk read, write etc loggable e.g.

inotifywait -r -m /

recursively notes all disk i/o from /

letting you know as it happens where

inotifywatch -r /

builds up a history which it prints when you stop it.

Found my mysterious "every couple of seconds" disk access on my
home server which was annoying the tits off me.....

came down to having installed the thinkpad utils by mistake which were
looking for the docking station & then calling sleep all day every
day....

Very neat....
