    I have a set of 4 single speed CD ROM drives in two external chassis, 
using IDE-type cable (40pin?) AND controller.  All use caddies, all work, all 
can be controlled from the single controller.  I have tested under DOS with 
no problems.  I also have 4 brand new caddies (unused) to go with these.
    Will trade for 72pin memory, matched sets.
