Hello Robert!
When last I read, Robert Stark was typing this to Steve Sorenson about
Client based NW 3.12 backup?:
SS> I've looked at Novaback, Seagate Backup Exec, Arcserve, Stac's
SS> Replica, and everyone requires a server based setup with an NLM
SS> being loaded.
RS> Put the DAT Drive in the Server and get ARCserve :-)
Gee...thanks, Robert .
RS> kidding. I was using Cheyenne Backup for Windows95 version 2.0
RS> before I got ARCserve and it was working fine.
Hmmmm....what were you doing as far as backing up the bindery? Backup
2.0 is doing a great job as far as everything else is concerned.
Really, I suppose I could manually restore the bindery, but the
thought leaves me cold .
RS> I like ARCserve much better though. It's a lot quicker.
If you load ARCserve's NLM, can you backup the server from your
workstation?
Thanks for the reply!
Steve
