KO> Got it - maybe I'll try another Mariner's Compass - in red, ya think? :)
KO> Hope I have enough reds...
OHHHH, So Nice! My DH LOVES your last Mariner's Compass - and I am under
orders with that one not to ever put that in anyone else's quilt - it stays
home with us. He wants me to make a Mariner's Compass quilt one day - One
compass in each of the 4 corners, ships in the center, and some light house
blocks alternated around it. I received a lighthouse block from Suzanne
ratt
in an individual exchange several months ago - I made her a train block and
she made me a lighthouse. So if I keep going, I may have this quilt entirely
from the echo!
KO> Luckily, Mike has always appreciated my sewing passion - I think mostly
cuz
KO> I saved us so much $$$ in kids' clothes! But he has come to appreciate
the
I know Glen values my sewing, as I make most of his clothes anymore. I am
working on two pair of jeans for him currently, spent yesterday afternoon
doing the frog stitch on one of them - rip, rip, rip. I put the zipper in
inside out, and didn't discover it until I had stitched it DOUBLE everywhere.
What a pain.
-> BTW, I would love to have a block from you for the QBE.
KO>
KO> Count on it! AAMOF, I do have time this week before the wedding dress
I really look forward to receiving your block. I have received two blocks so
far and I got both of them in the first week or so after I won.
I just want to finish these jeans so that I can do some things for me!
KO> BTW, is S&Q still around? I looked for it on Neverending t'other night
but
KO> couldn't find it. I wanted to know who was the Feb. winner for the
CMQBE.
Sew&Quilt is still around - I am on it daily. It seems to have slowed down.
There was only one message that was new on there today, versus 25 here.
ancy
Brassea won the exchange there for this month. I hope she is receiving lots
of blocks.
