    Don't think we've discussed x-posting messages before but I feel like 
knowledge is knowledge, no matter what the source. I don't think we 
particularly want a robot pumping messages indiscrimmitly, but as you 
uggest,
non-trivial ones will be welcome. I have injoyed Larwence's post of file 
announcements and news releases in the echo and think he has done an 
outstanding job editing them for content for us.
    This is also my opinion as a user, not a moderator. It's the users'
decision...we're just here for the ride :)
