-> between firing one on LPG vs. natural gas is the orfice, a tiny
-> device that is easily changed and is probably carried by your LPG
-> dealer.
AND, there are even adjustable orfices which come pre adjusted for BOTH
sources, and you just screw them to whichever stop is appropriate. (I'm
not sure the preset stops are a step in the right direction, as I've
adjusted cookstoves literally for decades far more accuratly than what's
available with pre-sets.)
My new cook-top is still just a shade 'rich' at the 'lean' extreme.
Possibly because our 'store-bought' gas is a mix which has variable
amounts of Butane in it. Varies from load to load. BTW, did you (Or
probably your overeducated wife) know that what we call "Natural Gas" is
predominantly Methane? OR that in Europe they use what is called (over
there) "Manufactured" gas which is almost indistinguishable chemically?
(Boy, aint it amazing what you can learn off ONE page out of an
air-conditioning book?)
