You know, they're so technically savy Mine told me that if they sent a new modem and it dod not fix the problem, they would bill me for the modem and the time the tech spent diagnosing my problem. So, I very calmly told them that if they didn't have their heads up their butts, they would know whether or not the modem was bad before they sent it...and if they couldn't figure it out, I would bill them my time. But, at least they were not in some foreign country. I am making a lexicon here....how to say Dumb Cluck in Hindi Spanish and several other support languages. Of course NONE of them understand some of the quaint Italian phrases that we know and love and describe the various anotomical exercises that they can do. I've found that chanting "Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" while waiting for them to look up a solution in their database works....although what seems the most effective is to pipe some good ole timey hill music into the phone line. cya, thom http://www.echolist.net/ --- GEcho 1.20/Pro* Origin: Home of The Other Robot (1:261/1352) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 106/1 114/635 120/228 123/500 140/1 222/2 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 393/68 396/45 633/260 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 SEEN-BY: 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 261/1352 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
