Consider the following statements:

Will you help me?
Shall you help me?
Would you help me?
Could you help me?
Should you help me?
Please help me!
Thank you for your help!
Please consider helping me!

Just a few examples,  usually the way you say it is how you feel about
something!   like you are desperate for help,,,  PLEASE HELP ME! may alert
them to the situation and that you are desperate!  looking for a volunteer
help but its not really needed.  you might say "Would you help
me?".  its all
in the wording and mood you put it in.

"BACK-UP BBS"  is backing up "On Guard BBS"
