He is on SSI

Its a social program which is administered by the Social Security
Administration, but which funding is not derived from Social Security
contributions, rather said funding comes from the general fund. Its a
federally administered welfare program.

Perhaps Sauer wouldnt have gotten this grief if he kept such personal info
to himself, much less not having gone out and slammed those who do have
jobs and who do pay taxes!
