Linux has very good ARCnet support. The maintainer is Avery Pennarun, and he
has a web page at "http://www.worldvisions.ca/~apenwarr/arcnet/".
You may also find the archives of the Linux ARCnet mailing list useful,
although it is low traffic: "http://tichy.ch.uj.edu.pl/lists/linux-arcnet/".
You may frequently see a name you recognize. :)
