Actually the last time I dove the Florida Springs my buddy
and I tried something similar.  Neither of us were coffee
drinkers so we used the in-room coffee-maker to heat up
some water which we then poured into a large Hefty trashbag
which contained our wetsuits.  Imagine the looks we got
from the other divers when we popped the trunk on my car
and pulled out a plastic bag full of nice, steaming-hot
wetsuits.
That still ranks as one of my favorite dive stories!  :)
