* EleBBS Support List Well, that worked enough for me to manually sort from now on. Unfortunately any message areas with an underscore in their title disappered. I'm going through fastecho one at a time and re-adding them. That's a lot faster than manually sorting 260 or so echo areas. -----Original Message----- From: Mike Ehlert [mailto:mike{at}pcmicro.com] Sent: Saturday, October 09, 2004 8:13 PM To: elebbs{at}thebbs.org Subject: Re: EleBBS: sorting message areas... * EleBBS Support List > As I've mentioned, I had to start from scratch. You many want to try RAUTIL which did this well.. but I think it was before RA 2.50, in which case you would need to do the following: Backup messages.ra, mgroups.ra, *.rdx, and your message area directories. Delete messages.rdx Run RAUTIL and sort Then to convert back to RA 2.50 format, you would need to run 20XTO250.EXE (from RA 2.50) or 20XTO260.EXE (from RA 2.60) and tell it to only upgrade your message areas.
