Iran has been referred to the United Nations Security Council for its
rogue nuclear program, but not before threatening the United States
with "harm and pain." And Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov,
trying to protect Russia's billion dollar nuclear and military
contracts with Iran, harshly criticized the United States for pressing
U.N. Security Council action against Iran. Lavrov said, "This move is
detrimental, and not one real problem can be decided with such a
moveaWe don't want to be the ones to remind (everyone) who was right
and who was not in Iraq, although the answer is obvious." Lavrov said
Russia would not support sanctions or military action against Iran.

Three major players in the Gog-MaGog prophecy - Russia, Iran and
Israel - are at the center of a major international conflict. Iran
saying it wants nuclear technology for peaceful purposesuIts leader 
an Islamic fanatic that believes the peace of Islam comes only by the
destruction of its enemies; Russia wanting to protect its investments
and political influence; and Israel seeing the need to defend and
protect its people. Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24:6, "And you will
hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for
all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." And He
said two verses later, "All these are the beginning of sorrows."
