Back when I lived in Yuma and worked on the railroad.....one of my favorite
resturants was located directly across from the Air station there. I'd sit at
a table in the window and eat, while watching the Marines lift the fighter
jets up off the ground, and take off with them in a VTOL maneuver.


That was back in 1975 or 76.
