I agree 100% with you.  The summer months here in Tucson are hooootttttt and
I'm always looking forward to Sept/Oct and beyond to get some relief.  My wife
doesn't feel this way though, just the opposite.  I guess that she and I will
never live (together) in Alaska. :-)

Me too.  I've seen pictures but I'm sure that they don't do the scenery and
view justice.

As for the neighbors being closer to each other and such, you'd have to up
there, no?   It could be a matter of life or death in some cases.
