My claim was that there were unverified reports from eyewitnesses at a city
commission meeting.  I posted a link that proved there were indeed
eyewitnesses who spoke at said meeting.

No lie, there were indeed multiple witnesses who spoke at the meeting.

Now, for example, if your local police or PM was claiming something wasn't
happening in your town, but you said you saw it with your own eyes... it
might depend on what it was but I would be more likely to take your word
for it.
