Oh well. I appreciate the file structure are different, but I didn't want to
expand the volume inside the partition, just the partition itself.

long story...
Basically I'm asked to work on the NetWare 4 server on work. I have a NetWare
3
server at home and so have quite a bit of experience with it. (I suspected
ll
the answers you've given me, I was just hoping some smart ass would know a
ay
round the problem ;-)).
The guy who is in charge of the server (and asked me to do the jobs) at work
(admin) doesn't have any experience with NetWare at all yet.
As you can imagine doing these jobs without access is time consuming, I need
to
hang around when he is available to type in the admin password every five
seconds.
So now I'll need to get the license disk from the central services (as it
doesn't appear to be restored in a backup, or am I wrong?) which will take
time,
then I'll have to direct a full backup, then reinstall Novell from my 2 user
disc, install the correct license, install rudimentary NDS, install ArcServe

and restore the files and NDS, all of this having to take place whenever
dmin
is around to enter in his password all the time. Not a huge problem, just a
bit
of a pita. I'd like to have been able to do the job for him, but in my own
time
if you know what I mean.
If I could even restore the license that would save me bundles of time,
because
I wouldn't have to wait on the Computer Centre here. I assume Novell have
prevented the license being transferred for anti-piracy reasons, or did I
make a
mistake?
Thanks anyway for confirming my fears :-)
CT.
