attaching the workstation to a thicknet (10base5) backbone.

There's no reason to use the 15 pin to connect to thinnet since the card also 
has BNC out. To use either the AUI or the BNC to connect that workstation to 
a 10baseT twisted pair LAN requires a  transceiver that costs more then a 
10baseT card does.....

MSD won't see the card unless it's hooked to a live network and has it's
