Thanks, looking at the source, this one looks more promising, as the file
handling stuff is in there.

I have FPC on both Windows and Linux here. :-)

Anyway, this one produces the same CRC value as the DOS "crc32"
utility.  Just
a bit of massaging of the output, think I can manage that by tweaking the
source (C is not my strongest language, but I'm often able to hack things a
bit).  Then attempt to hatch a file. :-)
