I have a 14,4 GVC EXTERNAL FAX MODEM. And I try to obtain the max speed from
it. When I used a 2400 I wrote down around more or less 240 cps.
Now, a last test give the following figures in downloading a Zip files of
259721 bytes:
        a) 19200 = 1636 cps maximum
        b) 38400 = 1636 cps maximum
It's exactly the reason why I'm writing to you because there is no difference
between the results with 19200 and 38400. So, why put these opportunities if
that don't do anything more ? May be Fred it's a dumb question or a huge
misunderstanding of modeming, but...
Thanks for your time and let's say that I'm ULTRA satisfied with COMMO .
What I'm looking for, it's the best output for my new modem.
