--- Sez KENNETH ABRAMS to DAVID MARHEINE ---
KA> ... Steeleye Span. I don't actually have much by them, or
KA> know anyone that does. Other than the two songs I've got on Loss
KA> Leader records ("Misty, Moisty, Morning" and "Thomas the Rhymer"), all
KA> I've got is _Now We Are Six_ on CD and something (don't remember) on
KA> cassette.
_NWAS_ (produced by Ian Anderson, Proggers!) is an excellent album.
The two preceding it, _Below The Salt_ and _Parcel Of Rogues_ and
the one following, _Commoners Crown_, are just as good, and similar
in sound. Their earlier albums are less electric rock and the later
ones get weaker in material and production, IMHO. Still, hardly any
of it is awful, especially if you love Maddy Prior's voice, but those
four mentioned above are still my faves.
Dave
... Anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
