My first post on the topic was a statement of the complexity of situations like this. There wasn't any agreement or disagreement there. Saying that I disagree means you read something into my statement that conflicts with your view. That makes you the one who disagrees with me, not vice versa.

I'm interested in genuine discourse. That requires each of us to see points from the other's point of view. Not only are you not demonstrating that at all, which makes my claim quite valid, but you don't even have a clue as to what my stance on the 2nd Amendment or gun control/carry laws is, so I haven't the foggiest clue why you came out on the offensive.

Don't you need to know what my views are before you can argue against me?
