You are talking what Otto calls *REAL* science, so I doubt he is familiar
with the significance of that profound constant.  The speed of light is so
important to Einstein's theory that he squared its value.  E=MC^2.

I doubt that Captain Kirk ever talked about any of this, so Otto is
unfamiliar with it.
