Or, Jesus Christ died for nothing, and mankind wasn't ever doomed to anything.

So you should believe all the stuff because if you don't, you may be making a
mistake.  That sounds like an awfully silly reason for believing.  Don't you
think God/Jesus would see right through that?

I've always found it interesting that most religious people (especially
evangelicals) seem to be much more concerned with what a person believes,
rather than what a person does.  You could help the poor, give away all your
posessions, live your life serving others and being as kind as possible, and
they'd condemn you to hell if you didn't believe in their magic.  I don't know
about you, but I have a feeling that if there is an almighty deity, it'd be
above such petty nonsense.
