The really surprising thing (NOT) about this is that Sauer doesn't see that
"There are a lot of people in the world to whom the
American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a
war-like message." is as unAmerican as one can get. Perhaps he sees
the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001 as an American celebratory act.
