One should not be asked to leave a public place because the ignorant
renta-cops don't like the political statement made by one's clothing. Those
guys were way out of line.

And while I wouldn't extrapolate from those two to the *entire* country, I
think they accurately reflect a nasty tendency to excoriate those who
aren't 100% behind the latest flag-waving and jingoism.
