Hi Bill,
BM>JH>Help! I've just switched my bbs over from my 386 sx 33mhz system to a
BM>JH>75 mhz Pentium. I tried to duplicaate everything pretty much exactly
BM>I'm still using a 486DX-33, which I have been using for 4 years.
BM>JH>but so far one problem has surfaced. When a caller tries to download a
BM>JH>qwk packet at speeds greater than 2400 it doesn't work. It does work
BM>Are you using DSZ for file transfers? If so, what does the local screen
BM>say about command line? Hmm, it doesn't make sense that it would not be
BM>able to find the file because of the speed you are using.
I am using DSZ. I'll have to check the screens and get back to you.
One thing I may have found - it's been a LONG time since I set this
stuff up but in the main bbs directory for each node I found 2 batch
files, sz.bat and rz.bat that may or may not be operating in my zmodem
setup.
They have 2400 for the speed rather than a variable like %2 or %3 or
something like that. Of course this file hasn't just changed, and
Ididn't have this problem until switching computers.
