Yes, I just renewed the echo's status with FIDO. The status has to be
renewed every six months. At five months, FIDO sends an automated
reminder to the moderator that a renewal message has to be sent within
the next month, which I received today. If that doesn't happen, then
the password protction is removed from the echo files and the next
person to file an update becomes the new moderator.
