Hola Mike! El Jueves 26 Agosto 2004 a las 08:09, Mike Ehlert escribi˘ a All: ME>> This sometimes happens when using the Windows Telnet.exe with ME>> certain ansi sequences. If that is the case then I suggest you ME>> try it using mtelnet to see if that works. You can download it ME>> from http://ozone.eesc.com >> Yes, that's the problem, but the problem is mTelnet!. I telneted to >> my BBS with Hyperterminal and I can see the read messages options >> perfectly. ME> Is this the default message menu that comes with EleBBS, or your own? ME> Is it an ansi screen?... or perhaps its caused by language text using ME> the Latin characters which is causing the issue? It`s de default message menu. The language is in Spanish, that could be the problem but I if telnet to my BBS with Hyperterminal instead of mtelnet I can read everything perfectly. You can see it on my BBS telnet://pucela.thebbs.org The menus are in Spanish but I think it won't so difficult to see the problem (the messages menu is "Mensajes" and the Read option y "Leer mensajes"). >> I'm using the last version of mtelnet, the beta12. >> >> Well, I'll have to use another telnet client ... netrunner? :-? ME> That would be another good choice... But most people I know use ME> mTelnet to call BBS's, so I suggest you contact Dink (the author) and ME> let him know about the problem in mTelnet, and send him a copy of the ME> .ANS file, or a screenshot showing both the BBS end and the client end ME> so he can fix this. You can contact him here: http://dink.org/email/ Ok, I have just sent him an email.
