-> -> WC> Spanky serves as a companion dog for the disabled here and I cannot -> -> WC> for the life of me find a single bad habit or incident I'd alter in -> -> WC> this loyal, intelligent animal who has repeatedly exhibited the very -> -> WC> best of judgement. -> -> You know Wayne, I had a Newfoundland like that. He was the best PERSON I -> ever -> -> knew. -> WC> Feel precisely the same here and I've expressed it precisely the same -> WC> way many times. -> Dogs lack vanity. If only more people lacked vanity too... how much more a -> happier place the world would be. Spanky smiles a lot when praised. It cracks me up when the back last 1/2 inch of his lips turn shgarply upwards. -> You know I have had a question go unanswered. Maybe it's too obscene. -> This is a better place to ask it perhaps. The question came up again -> when suprisingly enough I saw it referred to by a popular columnist. I -> can't be alone in this then. -> When our pets are obviously dying do we keep them alive indefinitly by -> artificial means? Of course not. We grant them mercy. I'll be facing that in a year or two. My guy is already 25 percent past the average age for the breed but is still going strong. -> Why do not -> humans accord the same to fellow humans who are dying or proven to be -> brain dead? Oregon has a reasonable euthanasia law. Florida had Terri Schiavo :-( I've still get a brain scan of her brain, what little of it remained not replaced by spinal fluid. -> It realy is a sick world we live in. You know the only individuals in a position to change that, but they seem more interested in war. In the local news there's often a report on fighting Pit Bull training camps for those that raise them to fight in for profit gambling events. To take such a potentally fine animal and turn it into a killing machine is beyond repulsive. I actually do not understand what people see in this _activity_ and I believe I'm glad I do not understand. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
