If that's the 4.3L V6, it's no different than changing plugs in a 5.7L V8,
just two fewer plugs to change.

They probably would have gone another 73,000, if you had changed the wires
instead. I only changed plugs once in my 88 Camaro, but I changed the
wires twice. I sold it about a month ago with those plugs in it that were
installed at 102,000 miles and the car had 149,000 miles on it when the
buyer drove it off. None of that over-priced Jap crap either, just GM
original type platinum plugs.
