 Payroll taxes *ARE* included in the price of the product, sales
 taxes are not. Sales taxes are added on at the time of sale, not
 included in the price.

 All costs of manufacturing and distribution are included in the
 price, including wages. So all social security costs are
 included in the price of the product. Sales taxes would increase
 the price overall the same, but by being spread over all
 products sold in this country, would reduce the amount on each
 individual product. And by applying it to imports on the same
 basis as domestic manufacture it will give the domestic
 manufacturers an advantage, against the disadvantage they now
 suffer.
