YES, that is right! You cannot explain that to someone who thinks anything
below 80F is "cold," though. :)

I am a few hours south, in Kentucky. In this area, it did snow some, but I
do not remember it ever covering the ground. Wait... there was one day it
did cover the parking lot at work, early in the morning when I get there,
but it did not stick around.
The school kids had more "extreme cold" and "flu" days off than snow days
this year.
