Have you looked at this fall's new TV shows? They're also playing half 
the Americans.

(Actually, I have a pretty good idea of why that is. The academic US 
acting schools these days concentrate on teaching how to act in 
commercials, while in-studio training is pretty much limited to Disney 
teaching twelve-year-old girls to play streetwalkers.)
