I'm not sure where exactly. Our Witt Family History states that he came
from NE Germany, back in 1842. That info was second hand from my
Great-Grandfather, handed down to his children, my Grandfather, Aunts and
Uncles...now maintained by an elder in the family, my Uncle Witt.
