Ahhh, back to the cattle guts...you know that there are no 'left-overs' in
the cattle slaughtering business. Everything is used, especially in
bologna and other cold cuts. Back before there were steer to butcher, they
butchered cow and bull. In the Chicago Stockyards, they used to hang bull
cock over the rafters to dry and then they were sent to be made into
walking sticks, which carried the name Bull Cock Walking Stick.
