Hey, there Wanda....good to hear from you! I got back in the car again
and drove 4 days last week. Takes me another day to recover from a day
of work so somewhere I lost a day last week. Didn't get on line. Don't
do too well when my mind and bod are tired.
-> Did you see the note from Jeannelou, about how they did this at her
-> church? It was interesting too. I think I'm ready for Christmas ->
again!
I didn't see it yet -- maybe it is still there. Didn't boot up last
week. Hey, now, ready for Christmas is great! That big bash of a
birthday party got me in the mood!
-> LF> present from Tracy and Cindy, however, was to have 10 candles
-> deleted. LF> Now, I call that a gift!
-> WG-> Wow! I wonder if I could get away with that?
I don't think it works. I think I told you that they wouldn't light any
candles for me, afraid of burning down their house.
-> Has he got any speeding tickets yet?!
Not that I am aware of....the greatest danger is his sending people to
the foot doctor. Doesn't mind taking a toe or two just any day.
-> -> Who is the carrier if you don't mind my asking? We use T-Net,
-> which is -> local also.
Ah, my daughter lives in Horn Lake and she has Bell South Net. It is
$19.95 a month and she likes it fine. This would be local for you. How
is T-Net? Dixie-Net is not too great as it is the sole local thing in
this area and there are too many users and it is hard to get on. Sort
of like the thing with AOL. They need some competition bad.
-> I had an idea yesterday! Since this is the beginning of 1998, I
-> thought that I could get a list of whomever has been baptized this
-> year, and make a bookmark with the date and name on it. Then, Bill
-> wants to make a self-stick card to put in their bible that matches
-> the bookmark. We remember birthdays, right? A baptizm is an
-> important date too! I've learned sort of how to make tassels, and
-> can put them on the end of the bookmark.
Now, this sounds really neat. It would mean so much to a new Christian
or an old one for that matter. You have so many unique ideas!
I used to make baby blankets (and doll blankets) with one corner seamed
to make a bonnet with a tassel on it. I lined a bright cotton print
with flannel -- they made good baby shower presents.
-> What projects are you working on now?
I am still trying to dig out from being invaded by my grandson, John,
and all his friends. It is going to take awhile to get back to normal
as had to pack up so much and rearrange everything. And when you let
things go for about 18 months, a lot goes wrong and has to be fixed. I
find I work real slow as the old bod has about had it 8:-}
I will give you a shout and we will get together.
Take care,
Lora
